Children's Title: Medical Director, Infusion Services

"I work with children and their families to lessen the burden of their injury or disease. As a clinician, I collaborate with the family and their healthcare team to optimize functional independence and help kids focus on playing, learning and growing regardless of their personal limitations. My greatest clinical success is enabling a child to play, laugh and smile. As a director, I seek to empower my team to innovate, improve the care we provide at Seattle Children's."

  • Forrest Bennett is an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) in the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine at Seattle Childrens Hospital. He earned a bachelors of Nursing at Seattle University and has worked at both the University of Washington Medical Center and Harborview Medical Center as a critical care nurse caring for a diverse population of medically complex patients. Forrest is one of the best physicians I have ever taken my son to. He was thorough and really took the time to ask good questions and listen to me. I really felt heard and seen for one of the first times since going through therapy and doing orthotics for my 7 year old son for toe-walking.

    • Jennifer Seattle, WA 01.10.17

Forrest was great. He was caring compassionate and direct. When my daughter was dealing with a tramatic brain injury he answered all our questions and returned our calls immediately. We were lucky to have such a good person on our team. Thank you

Forrest is in the highest league of professionals of registered nurse practitioners. My daughter possesses complex issues, and Forrest has given me and my child exceptionally dedicated service. My daughter had surgery on both her legs this summer; she never has walked, and she is seven years old. Forrest has spent many hours designing a plan for her to walk correctly when her casts come off. The plan covers all aspects of this huge change in my daughter's life. I am so grateful for Forrest's perseverance and commitment to producing a life changing outcome for my child. I am so grateful!

I highly recommend Forrest. He was able to interact well with my son, using a mixture of facts and humor. He's a part of an excellent team of concussion professionals that worked so well with my son.
