David Sherman, PhD

  • As a professor at the Center for Global Infectious Disease Research, David Sherman, PhD, focuses on virulence, latency and drug discovery for M. tuberculosis. He earned his BA from the University of California, Berkeley, and his PhD in biochemistry from Vanderbilt University, and he performed post-graduate work at the Rockefeller University and at Washington University in St. Louis.
