Dr. Blair is amazing! We came to her for a second opinion after a hematologist at Mary Bridge opted to stop treating my daughter's massive clot. My daughter wasn't happy to hear that she agreed with me that the shots should be continued at first, but when the pain from the collateral veins in her arms finally began to let up, she agreed that Dr. Blair was 100% correct to recommend she stay on them. My daughter said, "Dr. Blair is a really good doctor. She was looking out for what was best for me, instead of just following whatever I wanted, which is good, because I would've probably suffered forever if I hadn't gone back on the shots". She was open to our opinions, but was also clear in her recommendation, and her reasons for it, which made it easy for my daughter to understand. She is also MUCH easier to reach than most specialists.
