Our daughter Abby is not a fan of doctors, she has a lot of anxiety when it comes to talking with doctors, upon meeting Alfonzo she felt at ease and very comfortable. It’s so nice to attend her appointments because she can always be herself and has a comfort when talking with him. He seems to appreciate her sense of humor which is what has help her cope along with her strong willed nature. I love that he is straight up with her and talks to her like a human rather than a patient or a small child. We really enjoy out visits and having Abby be completely comfortable with him is an amazing help. We are very thankful and grateful for such an amazing doctor. He truly is great at what he does.

We can't say enough good things about Alfonzo. He is always so patient, perfect temperament for working with little people. Perfect balance of approachability with professionalism to put kids at ease.

My son has struggled with his diabetes and wanting to accept his diagnosis. Alfonzo was the first one that was able to get my son to smile and make any progression. Alfonzo actually takes time to talk to him so he feels like he is still a kid and not just a patient. My daughter was recently diagnosed Type 1 as well and there was no question in my mind who I wanted as her provider.

I highly recommend Alfonzo, he is wonderful with my my 11 year old. We have been seeing him alternating with Dr. Salehi and my daughter loves them both. He is very informative and never has a problem answering all of the questions I have.

Alfonzo is amazing with our 4 year old T1D son. We have been seeing Alfonzo for a year now and we never feel rushed when we have questions, we never feel shame for having high numbers, and leave feeling empowered and encouraged. He is great with children and parents alike and we look forward to our appointments with Alfonzo.
