How We Can Help Your Family

Seattle Children’s Center for Diversity and Health Equity (CDHE) was created in 2006 to enhance health equity in care and research at Seattle Children's. CDHE works to advance and coordinate health equity programs, education, training and research to effectively identify, understand and implement solutions to diminish, and, when possible, eliminate health disparities. We serve as health equity consultants within Seattle Children’s and broader communities of healthcare to incorporate innovative ideas in promoting health literacy for all patients and families.

One of our greatest strengths is in our community partnerships. We work closely with the Odessa Brown Children’s Clinic, Seattle Children’s Research Institute and many other groups within Seattle Children’s and across the region to better understand and meet families’ needs.
