COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Advisory for the Burnett Center: In light of recent communications from Public Health – Seattle & King County and our emergency operations team, we have made the decision to cancel all center and community-based classes and activities indefinitely and will continue Distance Learning until we can safely reopen. This includes all of our standing center-based classes, community-based activities and Friday outings. Seattle Children’s Alyssa Burnett Adult Life Center offers lifelong learning for people 18 and older with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities. Meet Your Team
Our goal is for you to lead the most fulfilling life possible. Instructors work side by side with center staff to create and teach courses to meet the varying needs of the wide spectrum of adults we serve. Each instructor is expert in their topic, with a passion for teaching adults with developmental disabilities. Meet the team.
Ways to Get Involved
Volunteers, partners and donors help guide our programs, assist with classes and outings, provide job skills training, raise funds and make our communities more inclusive. Learn how you can get involved, as a donor, intern, teacher, partner or volunteer.
Payment and Billing
We offer scholarships to families with financial need who could benefit from our classes and programs. We also welcome families who want to pay for classes or activities with DDA respite hours. Learn more about costs, scholarships and payment policies.
