    Free bike helmets available for children at least 1 year old to age 18. One helmet per child. Wearers must be present and be fitted to receive a helmet. Quantities are limited. First come, first served. No appointments needed.

    The Dance of Partnership: Why Do My Feet Hurt? Strengthening Your Parent–Provider Relationships

    Part of the "Families Together: A Forum for Learning and Sharing" series. A gathering of parents and caregivers of children with special health needs interested in gaining insight and skills for building effective working relationships with their children's providers. Featuring an interactive presentation led by Janice Fialka, LMSW, ACSW, renowned author and speaker on parent–professional partnerships, and small-group discussions to explore challenges and possibilities for building strong working partnerships. Forum is for adults only. Sponsored by Seattle Children's Family Advisory Council.

    Pediatric Inflammatory Bowel Disease Conference for Families

    Join Crohn’s and Colitis Northwest presenting in partnership with Seattle Children’s Inflammatory Bowel Disease Center for a special education program just for families of pediatric Crohn's and colitis patients! Featuring leading pediatric IBD providers speaking on a variety of topics, we hope to provide information and resources to help keep kids with IBD healthy and happy. This event is open to the public and all are welcome to attend. The deadline to pre-register is Thursday, April 9; registration will also be available at the event.
