    2018 Summer Girls Lacrosse Camp

    The Lacrosse Chicks for Children's Guild presents their 2018 Summer Girls Lacrosse Camp, Wednesday, July 25, through Friday, July 27 from 10 a.m. to noon each day. This is a great camp for new and returning lacrosse players in Kindergarten through 8th grade. Girls will be coached by high school and college players from the Lake Samm Lacrosse Team. Loaner equipment (sticks, eye gear and mouth guards) will be provided for new players. Participants will learn new skills through drills, games and small scrimmages.

    The Diversity and Health Equity Guild will be hosting a consignment-style pop-up shop, and selling a carefully cultivated selection of gently used adult and children's clothing. All proceeds from this event will benefit Odessa Brown Children's Clinic.

    4th Annual David Fisher Award for Excellence in Safety

    Nominate a Seattle Children’s staff member, provider or team who demonstrates a commitment to safety. Nominees are those who ask clarifying questions; repeat back information; make sure you understand your child's care plan; and work with you to prevent mistakes. Nominations are accepted through August 6.

    Miles 4 Smiles Fun Run

    Join the Smiles for Miles Tri-Cities Junior Guild for an unforgettable fun run! 1-mile run at 8:30 a.m. (with an 8 a.m. check-in) is $15, and the 5k run at 9 a.m. (with an 8:30 a.m. check-in) is $25. Registration for both events includes a T shirt!

    Free Bike Helmet Fitting and Giveaway (Covington KidsFest)

    Come to this fun event for families. Enjoy music and art projects, join the bike rodeo and get fit for a helmet! Free bike helmets available to children 1 to 18 years old. One helmet per child. Wearers must be present and be fitted to receive a helmet. Quantities are limited. First come, first served. No appointments needed.

    Youth Mental Health First Aid

    This 8-hour class is for adults who regularly interact with adolescents 12 to 18. Youth Mental Health First Aid will improve your knowledge of mental health and substance use problems, and will teach you how to connect youth with care when needed.
