Your shopping can benefit Seattle Children’s and help ensure that the best medical care will always be available to the children of our region.

There are many ways you can support Seattle Children’s while shopping! Here is a list of shopping opportunities:

Original art card sets

Original art card sets presented by the Pink Polka Dots Guild are now available! Each box contains six unique cards made by a guild member. Card sets are $10 each and can be purchased by visiting our website.

Click on each set to see an enlarged image of the cards; there are seven great sets to choose from including original photographs. All proceeds from the card sales will benefit brain tumor research. Thank you for your support.

Thunderfrog Charitable Anthology

Thunderfrog Studios presents its Charitable Anthology, Volume 3, with all proceeds going to Seattle Children’s Hospital. The comics anthology features up-and-coming creative talent working alongside industry professionals on both original and web series–inspired fantasy and sci-fi creations.

Holiday ornaments for sale

Purchase a handblown glass ornament or votive to support cancer research. Design and color are inspired by a Seattle Children’s oncology patient. $25 per ornament/votive. Presented by the Friends for Life Guild. During the month of September, text CARE to 50555 to donate $10 to childhood cancer research.

Emerald City Fired Arts

There's a new you-paint pottery, mosaics and glass studio in Seattle and they are donating to Seattle Children's Hospital! Emerald City Fired Arts is donating 5% of purchases back to the hospital when you mention that you want the donation to go to Seattle Children's. “Hope” glassybaby benefits Seattle Children’s

Good news for all you holiday shoppers! 10% from the sale of each “Hope” glassybaby will be donated to the Seattle Children’s Hospital Emergency Patient Assistance Fund. If you buy a “Hope” glassybaby online or in one of their stores in University Village, Madrona or Bellevue, Seattle Children’s will benefit.

The Dr. Jane L. Burns Guild presents handmade items for babies

Crystal Bambino pendants

Bambino pendants are lovely reminders of the hospital’s rich history. These beautiful pendants, created by Kusak Cut Glass, make a wonderful thank-you gift for outgoing guild presidents, special friends of the hospital and Seattle Children’s employees. Six Seattle-area charities, including Seattle Children’s, will receive funds from a new game for iPads and iPhones created by local startup Game It Forward. Seattle Soap Shop

Our soaps are interesting, unique and, most of all, fun! From beer soap to garden soap to milk soap, you are sure to find what you need. Our scrubs, sugar lip polish, lip balms, soaps and On-the-Go Remedy Sticks are all handmade in small batches and full of skin-loving ingredients. The Seattle Soap Shop believes that "Being Dirty Has Never Been This Much Fun" and it shows! 3% of all online sales benefit Seattle Children’s Hospital.

Restaurants and Catering Services

Set an Extra Chair for Children's

Consolidated Restaurants hosts a year-round giving program to benefit uncompensated care at Seattle Children’s.

Seattle Children's will receive 3% of the value of each gift certificate purchased for Elliott’s Oyster House or Metropolitan Grill. In addition, purchasers will receive 10% of the dollar value of certificates above $500.

Gift certificates can be purchased at any Consolidated Restaurants location, on their website or by calling Linda Brueggeman, 206-232-9292 ×2888.

Other Ways to Make Your Shopping Count

A new way to donate to Seattle Children’s when shopping at Fred Meyer

Customers are now able to help earn money for Seattle Children’s simply by shopping at Fred Meyer with their rewards card. Here’s how it works:

  • Link your rewards card to Seattle Children’s Hospital Foundation (82896) at Fred Meyer's Community Rewards page.
  • Whenever you use your rewards card when shopping at Freddy's, you’ll be helping the nonprofit linked to your rewards card earn a donation from Fred Meyer.
  • At the end of each quarter, Fred Meyer will make a donation to participating nonprofits based on the accumulated spending of the rewards customers linked to each nonprofit.
  • Fred Meyer will donate $625,000 each quarter to nonprofits in Alaska, Idaho, Oregon and Washington via Community Rewards.

Fred Meyer is a wonderful partner of Seattle Children’s. Donations from their checkstand promotions, employee giving program and other fundraising efforts have contributed more than $200,000 to the hospital. We appreciate this new opportunity to raise even more money for Children’s – thanks for shopping at Freddy’s!

Support Seattle Children’s when you shop at Bartell Drugs

Since 2011, the ‘B’ Caring program at Bartell Drugs has helped raise funds for nonprofits. Friends of Seattle Children’s can help earn up to 4% of qualifying purchases for the hospital when they register for this program and show their ‘B’ Caring card when checking out.

To register, pick up a ‘B’ Caring Card at Bartell, fill out the brief form and designate Seattle Children’s Hospital (group ID #500030417) as the organization you’d like to support. If you’re already participating in eScrip through another retailer program, you can update your online account or call 800-931-6258. Sync Fitness Saturday Seattle Children’s classes

Sync Fitness, 1550 W. Armory Way, Seattle, works with a number of charities and nonprofits each year in order to give back to our local community. Our Seattle Children’s Hospital Charity Boot Camp is truly a highlight of each month. Every class is full of parents and kiddos laughing and sweating and having fun in the name of fitness and health. It goes without saying that everyone has a blast and eagerly looks forward to this class at 8 a.m. on the first Saturday of each month.

Anyone can come to our Charity Boot Camp. You do not have to be a current boot camp member. Kids, friends and significant others are welcome. The purpose of this workout will be family fun! We also ask that you make a donation to Seattle Children’s Hospital at the end of each workout. The recommended donation is $5 to $10 per person (cash or check). You do not need to sign up in advance for this class – just show up!

Sharkey's of Seattle Cares

Customers of Sharkey's Hair Salon, 4609 14th Ave. NW, Seattle, have the ability to make a donation to the charity of their choice, including Seattle Children’s. Each child will be given a special token and the child can then place this token inside any of the three boxes. Tokens will be 25¢. Sharkey's will double the donation if customers pay cash. Village AutoCare & Tires Children’s Drive

Village AutoCare, 2724 NE 45th St., Ste. D, Seattle, will pledge 5% of the revenue generated by every new customer that mentions Seattle Children’s Hospital. Also, an additional 5% discount is offered to the customer. Once qualified as a Seattle Children’s customer, the donation and discount occur every time the customer brings their car to Village AutoCare.
