Guild Basics

Every guild is different. Some guilds engage in heartwarming projects, collecting and donating needed items to the hospital.

Other guilds raise several hundred dollars, while some raise millions of dollars each year.

Guilds raise money in many creative ways, such as with shopping excursions, scrapbooking, marathons, poster signing events and popular recreational activities, including sport racing, wine tastings and golf tournaments.

There is room for almost any fundraising idea!

Each gift, large or small, contributes tremendously to our children and their families.

Corporate Guilds

Corporations generously support Seattle Children’s, and often their employees want to get more personally involved in fundraising for the hospital and form a corporate guild.

Corporate guilds direct proceeds from a new or existing annual fundraising event to benefit Children’s. As with any other guilds, they are part of the Guild Association.

Corporate guilds must obtain their company's approval.

Donating Items

In addition to fundraising for Children’s, guilds collect needed items to donate to the hospital or one of Children’s thrift stores. All items donated to the hospital for use by children must be new and unused. New or gently used items in good condition may be donated to our thrift stores.
