Donate to our toy program: child

On behalf of our patients and families, thank you for considering donating to Seattle Children's Hospital. Your donation of toys, gift cards and other items help patients and families when they need it most.

Donate to Our Toy Program

Donate new toys and personal items for patients and families

Please see our wish list (PDF).

Due to infection control and allergies, we cannot accept used toys of any kind. This includes stuffed animals that have not been played with and have only been on display or on shelves at home. We are also unable to accept used books, voice recordable toys, medical equipment, wheelchairs, devices or other supplies. We can accept newly purchased stuffed animals with tags still attached, and Beanie Babies that have been stored in airtight containers.

If you have gently used items to donate, please consider our retail stores. See  Bargain Boutiques  for guidelines.

Donations may be left with the Volunteer Office, located near the River entrance of Seattle Children's main campus:

Handmade items

Handmade items, such as quilts and blankets, bring comfort to patients of all ages. Please see our handmade items brochure (PDF) for information on making items for our patients and families.

Please note

Due to privacy and infection control, we cannot allow personal delivery of gifts and donations directly to patients. We make every effort to maximize the donations we receive. Occasionally, we receive items that may not be used in the hospital or pose potential health concerns for our patients. These items are either donated to our Bargain Boutiques to benefit Seattle Children's or to other local charities that support the wellbeing of children.

For toy donation inquiries, please contact us by email . You may also call 206-987-2155 if you have questions about making donations to specific clinics or programs.
