Thanks to the generosity of our caring community, The Campaign for Children’s has been a huge success. Your gifts helped us surpass our $300 million goal by nearly $50 million. More than 1,200 people have included Children’s in their estate plans — a powerful way to help us provide the best care possible today and develop the cares and cures of the future.
More than 96,000 people showed their support. Gifts came in all sizes, from less than $1 to more than $20 million. We’re thankful for each one and we’re making every penny count.
Your donations are helping fund research on childhood diseases and cover the costs of uncompensated care so every child in our region gets the best medical treatment regardless of their family’s ability to pay. They have also enabled us to expand and improve our facilities and clinical programs. More importantly, they are helping us imagine, and build, a healthier, safer future for all children.
Improving the lives of people around the world is one of the greatest challenges of the 21st century. Our foundation focuses on diseases and health issues that affect people in the developing world. Bill and I support Seattle Children’s because we believe in its goal of developing and delivering innovative life-saving treatments that may eventually benefit children everywhere.
