Driving Directions

From Points North

1. From I-5 south, take the Stewart Street exit (166) toward Denny Way.
2. Take a slight left onto Eastlake Avenue E.
3. Eastlake becomes Howell Street after about a block.
4. Turn left onto Minor Avenue.
5. Parking is about halfway up the block on the right-hand side of Minor Avenue.

From Points South

1. From I-5 north, take the Olive Way exit (166) on the right and turn a slight right onto Olive Way.
2. Turn right onto Melrose Avenue.
3. Turn right onto Pine Street.
4. Turn right onto Boren Avenue.
5. Turn right onto Olive Way.
6. Turn left onto Minor Avenue.
7. Parking is about halfway up the block on the left-hand side of Minor Avenue.

From Children's Hospital

1. Start by going southwest on Sand Point Way NE toward University Village.
2. Sand Point Way NE becomes NE 45th Street. Pass University Village on the right. Stay in one of the two left lanes.
3. Continue south onto Montlake Boulevard NE.
4. Merge right onto 520 west toward I-5.
5. Merge onto I-5 south via the exit on the left, signed Portland
6. Take the Stewart Street exit on the right (166) toward Denny Way
7. Take a slight left onto Eastlake Avenue E.
8. Eastlake becomes Howell Street after about a block.
9. Turn left onto Minor Avenue.
10. Parking is about halfway up the block on the right-hand side of Minor Avenue.

Validated Parking

Validated parking is available at Met Park for Seattle Children's patients, research participants and business partners.

Parking validations are good for the Met Park West, East and North garages and can be obtained at the 5th floor reception desk. Validated parking is available only for regular Met Park Garage hours (see below).

Please also note that the reception desk is open between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, except on Children's holidays. If you anticipate needing a validation outside of those hours, please contact the reception desk ahead of time.

Met Park garage hours (Monday through Friday) are as follows:

• Met Park West: 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
• Met Park East: 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
• Met Park North: 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.

• 20-40 minutes: $6
• 40-60 minutes: $8
• 1-2 hours: $10
• 2-3 hours: $12
• 3-4 hours: $14
• 4-5 hours: $16
• 5-6 hours: $18
• 6-24 hours: $20
• Evenings after 5: $6

Lot Parking

Several pay lots are located in the area around Met Park. The closest of these is located at the corner of Boren and Howell.

Bus Information

Both facilities are a few blocks from downtown Seattle, and from the many transit connections available. The nearest transit tunnel entrance is Convention Place.
Children's Green Line shuttle service serves both facilities.
