What is the goal of this study?

The goal of this research study is to understand problem-solving in teens with and without chronic pain.

Who can join the study?

Healthy teens between 14-17 years of age and their parent(s).

What happens in the study?

  • Teens and their parents will complete some questionnaires at home that will take between 20-30 minutes each.
  • Next, teens and their parents will be invited to Seattle Children's Research Institute Downtown for a lab visit lasting 30 minutes. Teens will be asked to complete a mild physical activity task and two problem-solving tasks while their parent supervises.
