Rachel A. Katzenellenbogen, MD
Rachel A. Katzenellenbogen, MD, is an assistant professor of pediatrics in the section of Adolescent Medicine and STD research at the University of Washington. She conducts research on human papillomavirus (HPV) infections and the mechanism by which HPV can lead to cervical cancer.
Dr. Katzenellenbogen attended medical school at The Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and then trained in pediatrics, adolescent medicine and STD research at the University of Washington, Seattle Children's and the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center. In 2006, she joined the faculty at the University of Washington.
