Kristen Hayward, MD

Kristen Hayward, MD, is a fellow in the Division of Pediatric Rheumatology at Seattle Children's. She is currently enrolled in the Master's in Epidemiology program at the University of Washington School of Public Health.

Dr. Hayward received her BS with honors from Duke University and her MD from the University of California, San Francisco. She completed her pediatric residency at the University of Washington. Prior to her fellowship, she worked for several years on the clinical faculty at Seattle Children's as a pediatric hospitalist and Emergency Department physician.

Dr. Hayward's research interests include the identification of biomarkers in juvenile autoimmune disorders, as well as appropriate integration of research findings into clinical care.
