Katherine Fisher
Katherine Fisher, Rebecca Fisher’s 24-year-old daughter, is a BRCA1+ “pre-vivor” who has had personal and professional experience related to genetic testing. Katherine was 9 years old when her mother was diagnosed with breast cancer, and 18 years old when she received her genetic testing results at the University of Pennsylvania. Katherine graduated from Duke University, where she majored in public policy and economics.
During her college years, Katherine interned on Capitol Hill and at the National Human Genome Research Institute.
She is currently an associate consultant at Bain & Company and lives in Atlanta.
