David E. Woodrum, MD
David E. Woodrum, MD, is clinical director for the Treuman Katz Center for Pediatric Bioethics at Seattle Children’s; he is professor of pediatrics at the University of Washington School of Medicine and faculty associate in the Department of Bioethics and Humanities.
Dr. Woodrum’s clinical and teaching activities are focused on convalescing premature infants and pediatric biomedical ethics issues for residents, fellows and other healthcare providers. His research explores the determinative elements of parental decision-making. He is co-director of the Pediatric Interim Care Center in Kent, Washington, a nationally recognized program providing medically supervised care for drug-exposed infants.
