Request PCRC Lab Services

Instructions

1. Complete the PCRC Lab application (DOC) and email to crclab@seattlechildrens.org.
2. Request lab services in your IRB-ITHS CRCN (Institutional Review Board – Institute of Translational Health Sciences/Clinical Research Center Network) application.
3. Complete Appendix 8 on the ITHS Research Resources page.

Expectations

Submission of an application to the lab attests to the study team's agreement to the following:

1. IRB approval will be obtained and maintained for all activities conducted by the PCRC Lab.
2. Study teams must obtain consent/assent prior to retrieving or requesting retrieval of research specimens.
3. Any member of the study team who handles specimens must complete "Bloodborne Pathogens, Safe Handling and Disposal of Infectious Waste" and "Category B Biological Substances Shipping and Transport" training on CHEX (a Web-based learning management system available through the Seattle Children’s network).
4. Everyone who accesses the lab must participate in orientation provided by PCRC Lab staff.
