• What are the advantages of using the Clinical Research Staff Support Core (CRSSC)?

    The CRSSC staff:

    • Are trained in Good Clinical Practice
    • Are already onboard and oriented to Seattle Children’s
    • Are familiar with institutional policies and working with hospital service areas and the Pediatric Clinical Research Center (PCRC)
    • Are supervised by the Center for Clinical and Translational Research (CCTR)
    • Charge only for study-specific activities (unless assigned FTE)

  • How are core resources assigned?

    Core resources are dependent on staff availability, and assignments are determined by the CRSSC manager.

  • How quickly are core staff available?

    Staff are available within a few days to a few weeks, depending on the project and availability.

  • How will I know if my request for CRSSC services can be met?

    CRSSC staff will contact you within two weeks of the date your request was submitted to inform you if your request can be met.
