Center for Clinical and Translational Research (CCTR) members are supported by the center's core business staff. Business core services include comprehensive pre- and post-award grant and contract administration, payroll assistance and space management. In addition, the CCTR provides technical and methodological support, education and collaborative assistance to investigators in the design, conduct and analysis of clinical research. Investigators at all stages of study design and execution have access to statisticians and others with expertise in clinical research compliance and methodology.

Full Members

Requirements

  • Peer-reviewed funding at Seattle Children’s in the past three years
  • Source of funding — federal, foundation or industry
  • Must be principal investigator (PI) or co-PI on the grant
  • Attend a minimum of two quarterly member meetings a year

Benefits

  • Access to a portion of contributed indirect funds at end of fiscal year
  • Subsidies on selected core services and CRC startup fees
  • Designated research office space at Building 1
  • Designated and Just-in-Time research office space at Bret Boone Modular on the hospital campus

Affiliate Members

Requirements

  • Interest in the vision of the center to advance the science of clinical and translational research (not limited to Children’s-based faculty)
  • No funding or research requirement
  • Includes faculty and research staff
  • Participate in relevant committees and educational programs
