Description of Research:

My research has involved childhood injuries, including epidemiology and prevention of unintentional injuries and delineation of attributes of both inflicted injuries and injuries that might be confused with inflicted injuries. The focus has been on physical injuries, although some aspects of sexual abuse have been studied. I have also studied some primary care topics: absent records as a barrier to immunization and rickets in primary care.
