Cystic Fibrosis Therapeutics Development Network Coordinating Center
The Cystic Fibrosis Therapeautics Development Network (TDN) provides technical and administrative support for multi-center clinical trials. A national network of CF Care Centers conducts the trials.
Grants from the nonprofit Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Therapeutics, Inc. and the National Institutes of Health provide funding for the TDN. These grants expedite research and development of new therapies for patients afflicted with cystic fibrosis.
Families should make inquiries into patient participation in cystic fibrosis research through the patient's physician.
