Journey Program (Bereavement)

The Journey Program is a grief support program for families whose child has died.

Support groups meet on alternate Wednesday evenings from 6:15 to 7:45 p.m. at 70th and Sand Point. Please call for exact room location.

Services Offered

  • Immediate or ongoing appropriate crisis intervention, grief support and counseling to parents, siblings and extended family
  • Assessment and community consultations
  • Referrals and information regarding other grief support programs in the WAMI region
  • Support groups for parents
  • Short and long-term grief counseling

We also offer bereavement education and training for the community.

To participate in our ongoing support groups for parents which meet twice a month at Children's 70th and Sand Point office, please call for an appointment. Trained volunteers and mental health professionals facilitate the groups.
