We find funding sources for families with limited or no insurance coverage. We assist with application processes to include Medicaid and the Children's Financial Assistance program, depending on eligibility.
Financial Counseling receives all requests for care and treatment of international patients. We work with Medical Administration to ensure that patients and their families meet all financial and medical requirements before treatment.

Before we can schedule medical services for your child, we must make sure that you or your insurance company will be able to pay the estimated bill.
Our Insurance Processing Department can help review your health insurance coverage. If your insurance company will not pay for the services, or will only pay a portion, your child may still receive care here if you can afford to pay for the services out of pocket.
If you want to pay for your child's care, we require that you deposit at least 70 percent of the estimated charges in an account set up at Children's. You must also agree to pay off the final account balance.
If your child is covered by Medicaid and your state's Medicaid will not authorize treatment for this condition, it may not be legal for you to pay for the service out of pocket in another state.

Before we can schedule medical treatment for your child, we must review and approve medical and financial information, regardless of your citizenship. We must review your child's medical records in order to decide if we are able to provide the treatment needed.
We need to assess if your child is strong enough to travel to the U.S. And, we must approve your financial information.
This means you or an acceptable third party (such as a government or embassy) must give us a deposit and/or written guarantee of payment for 100 percent of the estimated bill before we can schedule any services for your child.
