Family Advisory Council
The Family Advisory Council is composed of parents who advise the hospital on how it can more effectively meet the needs of children and their families.
We provide feedback on proposed policy, program and organizational changes that impact the family experience at Children's.
We also bring family concerns to the attention of hospital leadership and identify and work on specific projects to support families.
Parents serving on the council have had a wide variety of health care experiences and represent the diversity of the families served by Children's. Members can serve a maximum of two 2-year terms.
Council members also include two staff facilitators and three management representatives.
Council meetings are held the second Tuesday evening of the month during the academic year.
