The Children's Health Access Regional Telemedicine (CHART) Network links Children's Hospital with regional outreach clinics and rural hospitals in Washington, Alaska and Idaho.
It also provides consultative medical visits with Children's specialty physicians to patients and families through telemedicine technology. The purpose is to manage care of children with chronic health and/or behavioral conditions.
The CHART Network supports a regional system of pediatric oncology care. It establishes a consultation, education and clinical support system with pediatric oncologists in Anchorage, Alaska and Spokane.
The CHART Network provides approximately 60 monthly face-to-face telemedicine encounters. These address specialty needs to children at multiple sites.
