Medical Unit
Overview
We are a 63-bed unit and provide a range of patient care services for children newborn to 21 years.
We treat patients of all ages including those requiring chronic ventilators and with tracheotomy tubes.

Our staff includes:

- Child life specialists
- Nurse technicians
- Physicians
- Registered nurses
- Respiratory therapists
The unit offers EEG telemetry. We provide therapeutic diagnoses and diagnostic services. We also provide discharge planning services for children with respiratory or cardiopulmonary problems.
We administer treatments and therapies to assist patients with abnormal respiratory function. We also offer home care discharge teaching for parents/caregivers.
