Rehabilitation Psychology
We provide psychological and neuropsychological services to children ages 2 through 21. We use a holistic approach to pediatric psychology. We assess and treat each child on a case-by-case basis. We base our treatment on a careful understanding of the child's cognitive, social, emotional, behavioral, physical and medical functioning. We also consider the child's home, school, peer and community situation.
We treat confirmed and suspected neuropsychological, neurobehavioral and emotional adjustment issues. These may be due to medical, genetic or acquired conditions.
Pediatric psychologists specializing in rehabilitation psychology provide our services, including:
- Consultation and education regarding cognitive, behavioral and emotional issues (offered to the rehabilitation team, child's family, school and/or other care providers within the community)
- Individual, group and family psychotherapy
- Neuropsychological evaluations
