Pharmacy

We monitor, order, prepare and deliver a range of medications. Our team consists of experienced pediatric pharmacists supported by technicians. We serve as a consultive resource to hospital-based providers and to the community on pediatric dosing, drug administration and other medication issues.

We use the Pharmacy and Therapeutic Committee and the annually published Formulary of Medications. These assure appropriate, safe and effective use of medications for children. This formulary is accessible in-house to all care providers and through the secure area of the Medical Staff section.

Children's provides health care for the special needs of children regardless of race, sex, creed, ethnicity or disability.
Financial assistance for medically necessary services is based on family income and hospital resources and is provided
to children under age 21 whose primary residence is Washington, Alaska, Montana and Idaho.
