  • Biography

    Dr. Thome's involvement with Seattle Children's Hospital began in 2002 when she completed a summer apprenticeship on the Inpatient Psychiatric Unit at Seattle Children's Hospital. She returned several years in a row, and eventually was hired as a Pediatric Mental Health Specialist on the Inpatient Psychiatric Unit. She attended graduate school at Roosevelt University in Chicago, IL for her doctoral degree and gained experience in health and pediatric psychology and neuropsychology at the University of Chicago Comer Children's Hospital, Children's Memorial Hospital, and Michael Reese Hospital. She matched for residency at the Children's Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota where she did focused training with children and adolescents on the Hematology/Oncology service. Dr. Thome returned to Seattle Children's Hospital as a postdoctoral fellow with the Neuropsychological Consultation Service and now works as a clinical and pediatric psychologist in Outpatient Psychiatry.
