  • Biography

    Emily Kroshus is a research assistant professor at the University of Washington in the Department of Pediatrics and Seattle Childrens Research Institutes Center for Child Health, Behavior and Development. She obtained her doctoral degree in 2014 from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health in the Department of Social and Behavioral Sciences, with a concentration in health communication. Prior to coming to the University of Washington she was a post-doctoral research fellow at the National Collegiate Athletic Associations Sport Science Institute, where she worked on research and program development related to concussion and mental health in college sport. Her research interests include social and contextual determinants of health-related behaviors, including risk-taking and help-seeking, as well as intervention design and evaluation.
