David E. Woodrum, MD, is a professor of pediatrics and senior member of the Division of Neonatology in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Washington School of Medicine, a faculty associate in the University of Washington Department of Bioethics and Humanities, and a consultant and member of the attending staff of Seattle Childrens Hospital.

Dr. Woodrum's clinical and teaching activities are focused on recovering/chronic neonatal intensive care infants, prenatal diagnosis consulting and management of high risk pregnancies and pediatric biomedical ethics issues. His research explores the determinative elements of parental decision-making.
