Academic Title: Assistant Professor

Research Center: Center for Clinical and Translational Research

"As a pediatrician, I was drawn to endocrinology because, the vast majority of the time, we deal with clinical issues related to growth and physical development — and there is nothing more fundamental to child health than those two things! My goal for every child and family I see in clinic is for them to feel they have the chance to fulfill every hope and dream without letting a chronic disease get in the way. We do this as a clinical team by aiming to give our patients the skills and confidence to be healthy, active people — who also happen to have, for example, diabetes."
