Christi Gerhardt , MD, is attending physician at Seattle Childrens Hospital and assistant professor of pediatrics at the University of Washington School of Medicine. She is a board certified Pediatric Endocrinologist. In addition to seeing general endocrine and diabetes patients at Seattle Childrens Hospital, she is delivering endocrine care to patients with cystic fibrosis within the cystic fibrosis clinics at Seattle Childrens.
She is also providing endocrine outreach to patients in Olympia, Washington and Anchorage, Alaska. Her clinical and research focus is on endocrine disorders seen in patients with cystic fibrosis. She recently presented two talks about Cystic Fibrosis Related Diabetes at the regional Cystic Fibrosis Clinical Conference in Seattle and is looking forward to moderating a workshop on endocrine and bone health in cystic fibrosis at the NACFC meeting this fall and to participating in a national quality improvement initiative for cystic fibrosis related diabetes.
