Anne E. Phalen, MD, is an attending physician at Seattle Children’s Hospital and clinical associate professor
in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Washington School of Medicine. She received her MD from Georgetown University Medical School and completed her residency at the Children’s Hospital National Medical Center in Washington, D.C. Phalen works with medically complex children having prolonged medical stays. She also provides didactic and bedside teaching for residents and medical students on the wards. Her interests also include patient care quality improvement projects.
