  • Wayne L. Chandler, MD is currently Division Chief for Laboratory Medicine, Department of Laboratories at Seattle Childrens hospital.

    Previously he was a Professor of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the Weill Cornell Medical College of Cornell University and worked in the Department of Pathology and Genomic Medicine at the Methodist Hospital in Houston, Texas. Prior to that he was a Professor of Laboratory Medicine at the University of Washington working at UWMC and Harborview Medical Center. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Utah, his medical degree from St. Louis University School of Medicine, and completed a residency in Clinical Pathology at the University of Washington. His clinical practice and research focuses on diagnostic testing for hemostatic and thrombotic disorders.
