Transplantation

On staff since September 1997

"The dedication of the transplant team here at Seattle Childrens Hospital, inspires me to provide the highest quality care to patients recovering from organ transplant surgery. It is an honor and a privilege to care for patients and families during a stressful time during their lives. I love seeing patients recover and feel better, and ultimately do things they were unable to do when they had end-stage organ failure."

Keli Hansen, is a pediatric nurse practitioner who provides inpatient care for children that have received liver, kidney, or small bowel transplants. She works closely with the multidisciplinary transplant team. Keli received her graduate education at the University of Washington and Rush University.

Keli is the chair of the abdominal transplant practice council and ensures transplant related guidelines of care, ordersets, policies and procredures, and protocols are up to date.
