"I consider it a great privilege to be your childs cardiologist. Most importantly to me, being a pediatric cardiologist means building relationships with patients and families to allow us to succeed in whatever path we take together. My job is most rewarding when families feel informed, cared for, and heard. This is true for the relatively simple issues we may face - as well as for the life changing ones."

When I first gave birth to my son we had three cardiologist looking after him, Dr Weldin was by far the best he treated us like family and my son like his best friend really comforted us during such a hard time. Even when we had an emergency visit to Seattle Childrens he made the time to come see us in our room to make sure every thing was okay. He's a great Dr and I'm blessed to have him looking after my son.

Dr. Weldin spent time to get to know our baby daughter. I met him the first time and he told me he had been tracking my daughters case and gave great insight. It really amazed me that he paid such close attention and knew all the details of her case. It was a great feeling. Also, being a parent who is staying in the hospital with your child is stressful. Dr. Weldin is very nice and has a great sense of humor. Which is terrific for us parents. He is a down to earth and sincere nice guy. If you get the chance to work with him, you will enjoy it. Thank you Dr. Weldin!

My little baby saw Dr. Weldin for his VSD, and we are glad that we had an excellent cardiologist with us. Dr. Weldin took time to listen to our concerns, and made all the effort to find a way to help us. From our experience he is not only a knowledgeable doctor but also a doctor that provides care with a warm heart. Our baby has now completely recovered from his surgery and is growing well.
