I completed my earlier training on the East Coast, having attended Brown University for undergraduate and SUNY Downstate for Medical School. My journey in pediatrics began at the Phoenix Children’s Hospital Maricopa Medical Center Pediatric Residency Program; I eventually joined on as faculty at Phoenix Children’s and the University of Arizona.
While in Phoenix I practiced as a hospitalist, associate director of our pediatric HIV clinic and director of medical student programs. My dream to be in the Pacific Northwest and be a part of Seattle Children’s Hospital has recently been realized as I join the division of hospital medicine as a hospitalist and clinical effectiveness consultant. Throughout my adventures, my wife, Dara and our two daughters, Madeline and Lola, serve as a my constant inspiration.
