"After a rich and rewarding, 29 year career as a physician in the US Army, I joined Seattle Children's to focus on children with blood diseases and cancer. I sincerely enjoy caring for children with chronic illnesses and developing relationships with their families, but I am passionate about blood diseases and optimizing quality of life for children and families facing life-threatening illnesses."
Dr.Babcock was one of the first to respond when my daughter had an allergic reaction to some medication after surgery at Children's Hospital. She took charge and really listened to what the needs of my daughter were. I was so relieved to have had such an amazing lady at my daughters side. She made sure that we all understood what was happening and what she was doing to ease my daughters issues. Anaphylaxis from medications is an extremely dangerous thing. With Dr. Babcock on our side I felt at ease. Thank you for being there for us!
