Janie G. Hallstrand, MD, is an attending physician at Seattle Children’s Hospital and clinical associate professor in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Washington School of Medicine. She also works with medically complex children with prolonged hospital stays.
She earned her MD at the University of Vermont School of Medicine and completed residency training at Maine Medical Center. Hallstrand is involved with resident and medical student education through bedside and didactic teaching. She is interested in quality improvement and participates in rapid process improvement.
