Henry S. Berman, MD, is a member of the Division of Adolescent Medicine at Seattle Children's Hospital and clinical associate professor of pediatrics at the University of Washington School of Medicine. He earned his MD from New York University School of Medicine.
He completed an internship and pediatrics residency at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City, and served three years in the U.S. Army. He is board certified in pediatrics. Berman began his work in adolescent medicine at The Mount Sinai School of Medicine, where he developed the HEADS evaluation, now used nationally in obtaining a social history from teens. He specializes in behavioral problems of adolescents, including ADHD, depression, poor school performance including school avoidance and anxiety disorders.
