Dr. McPhillips steered our little ship through over a year of turbulent waters, always deeply thoughtful, patient, and cautiously optimistic. She took a genuine interest in our son and his strange medical history, and she became a trusted partner as we navigated multiple specialty clinics and hospital admits. We really could not have done it without her, and are thankful she agreed to be our children's PCP two days after we first met around our son's crib. Dr. McPhillips has a calm, intelligent, and funny way of being, which eased the dark times. She is also a smart clinician, a common-sense doc and mom, and knows virtually everyone at the hospital (very helpful when dealing with multiple specialties!). One of the very best at SCH!
