Urgent Care

On staff since July 2015

"My interest in pediatrics was sparked at a young age by a love for children and science, but my first medical mission to Thailand in 2007 galvanized my desire to practice pediatrics on a global scale. My passion for pediatrics is not limited to clinics requiring a passport. I enjoy the special bond between the pediatrician and the patient: no other specialty gets the instant feedback of an affectionate hug or a kick in the shin. I feel privileged to shepherd families through their outpatient experience: to provide comfort, knowledge, answers, and healing. My training has provided me with a solid diagnostic and therapeutic knowledge base, the ability to quickly sort through differential diagnoses to the correct conclusion, and the wisdom and grace to transcend physical, cultural, and linguistic boundaries. My career goals are simple: to use my training, skills, and abilities to better the lives of children and their families, and to advocate for vulnerable populations worldwide."
