Elisabeth H. Villavicencio, MD, PhD

Beth Villavicencio, M.D., Ph.D., completed her medical training and doctoral research in developmental biology at Northwestern University. She also met her husband and fellow hospitalist Carlos at Northwestern, and Beth followed him to eastern North Carolina for her pediatric residency.

She completed her fellowship in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology, then as an attending physician focused in neuro-oncology clinical care and research. Beth became an Assistant Professor in the Division of Hospital Medicine in 2009. She developed and leads the section of Hematology/Oncology-BMT Hospital Medicine at Seattle Children’s Hospital. Her interests include camping, crafts, family time, and advocacy for children with special needs.
