  • Biography

    Dr. Griego completed her undergraduate degree at Stanford University and her medical degree at the University of New Mexico. She went on to complete her residency training in Pediatrics at the University of Washington/Seattle Children's Hospital. She has practiced as a pediatric hospitalist for the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Washington and Seattle Children's Hospital since July 2014. 

    Her clinical interests are focused on improving care for hospitalized children. She has a specific interest in improving the healthcare experience for medically underserved patients and families and those who speak a primary language other than English. 

    Dr. Griego is also passionate about medical education and has been an Associate Director of the Pediatric Residency Program at the University of Washington since 2020. She is interested in improving feedback and evaluation for pediatric trainees, exploring the role of bias in feedback, and assessing the utility of milestones and entrustable professional activities in evaluations.
