My son was born with a club had and he was a patient of Dr. Hanel's for a period of 3 years. The operation that he preformed on my son has changed my sons life. He is a wonderful Doctor and he is hands on start to finish. I would recomend him and Cheryl Parker to anyone who asked. My son can now ride a bike, he can cary things with his arm and hand, he is a normal and very active 6 yr old who now goes to school and has a normal life and that is thanks in large part to Dr. Hanel and his staff, not to mention the wonderful nursing staff at Childrens Seattle.

Doctor Hanel is wonderful and kind. He always explained my hand surgeries to me and to my mom. He always put me at ease. He was not my original doctor, he took over for Dr. Almquist when I was ten. I am now 25 and may be going in to see him for another surgery.
