Before I met Dr Nichols, I struggled with 22 years of recurring pneumonias caused by pathogens like Pseudomonas aeruginosa and atypical Mycobacteria, increasing permanent lung damage (called bronchiectasis), malnutrition, and a decreasing ability to breathe. I sought a diagnosis from many highly regarded physicians without success. As a last resort I went to National Jewish where Dr. Nichols, with his extensive knowledge of & experience with cf diagnosed me with nonclassic CF and gave me access to care in a CF Care Center, which saved my life. I am forever grateful!!
