David Breland, MD, MPH is a member of the Division of Adolescent Medicine at Seattle Children’s Hospital and assistant professor of pediatrics at the University of Washington School of Medicine. Dr. Breland earned his MD from the University of California, Davis and a MPH at the University of California, Berkeley.
He completed his fellowship in Adolescent Medicine at the University of California, San Francisco. Dr. Breland practices at Seattle Children’s Hospital and Harborview Medical Center. He has expertise in male health, eating disorders, obesity depression, anxiety and gender identity issues. He does general primary care for adolescents at Harborview Medical Center. He also will see patients at the new Bellevue Clinic. His research interest includes increasing adolescent male use of school-based health centers, and depression in adolescent and young adult males.
